Ok so I have been away from blogging for far too long, and well this post was long overdue. A while back I did a Hit or Miss post on the Becca Radiant Skin Creamy Concealer which you can find here. When I purchased those concealers, I also got the Radiant Skin Satin Foundation in Tobacco and Cafe (medium-tan) and contrary to my views on the concealer; I was pleasantly surprised with the foundation.
Both the shades that I got were either far too light or too dark to use on their own so I had to mix them together to get the right shade for my skin tone. The formula is more creamy than liquid and applied with a buffing brush this blends really nicely on the skin. The pigmentation is enough to cover any discolouration and blemishes on the skin with medium and very buildable coverage and I am very impressed with the natural looking finish. It says it in the name; a satin finish which looks natural and feels lightweight and does not cake even if you choose to apply a generous amount.
I would say this is best suited for normal/combination skin; however I did feel that it did draw attention to dry areas on my face during the course of the day the first time I used it; but second time round I ensured I moisturised those areas more and didn't have the same problem. I noticed that it did oxidise darker on to my skin later in the day but I wouldn't go as far as calling it long lasting.
To round it up; this is a great everyday foundation as it wears so natural on the skin. I love that it is buildable which is great for a day or night wear. So a hit in my books!
Have any of you tried this foundation? Let me know your thoughts.
